We are excited to announce the opening of CX Napoli Garibaldi (Via Galileo Ferraris), scheduled for September 2025: a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to become a landmark in the city of Naples.
The new CX will offer 75 Hotel rooms, 11 Hostel dorms, 800 sqm of co-working area and a 267-room campus, designed to promote networking and productivity.
For this important opening, we are looking for a General Manager to lead our team with strategic vision, managerial skills and innovative approach, contributing to the success of an ambitious project.
GENERAL MANAGER'S TO-DO LIST:
- You will follow the pre-opening and opening phases with coordination of the supplier search and logistical coordination aimed at the opening
- You will coordinate and optimise all operational and project activities of the facility to make it more effective and functional for the company's objectives
- You will supervise the work of the staff, setting clear objectives and ensuring the delivery of the service in compliance with quality standards
- You will be responsible for the introduction, interpretation and correct application of operational procedures and standards
- You will supervise and coordinate the work of external companies (maintenance, housekeeping, security, F&B) in cooperation with the Technical Department
- You will contribute to the implementation of activities and initiatives promoted by Head Office at the relevant facility
- You will manage and coordinate the facility's internal Community and the organisation of events and activities for residents
- You will participate in the definition of the annual budget by proposing investments and improvements and help monitor their progress
- You will ensure compliance with the regulations related to the management of the structure and the fulfilment of the related obligations (HACCP; fire prevention; environmental protection; etc.)
- You will contribute to procurement management within the limits of the procedure and with the support of the purchasing structure
- You will entertain relations with local public and private bodies, universities and associations in the area in coordination with the Head Office structures involved
- You will contribute to the fulfilment of the employer's legal obligations (safety; hygiene; workers' health; privacy).
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 years' experience in the hospitality industry (of which at least two as Hotel Manager/General Manager), with a background in structured contexts oriented towards hybrid hospitality models.
- Proven experience in coordination roles during pre-opening and opening phases of complex structures, with in-depth knowledge of the local market and the city of Naples.
- Excellent leadership and staff management skills, with a focus on complex and diverse contexts.
- Advanced language skills: fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is an added value.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven experience in managing relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
